Farewell To the QE2

21st September 2007
Yesterday morning I travelled down to Greenock to see the last visit of the QE2 to the Clyde where she was built. This magnificent Liner was built forty years ago at Clydebank and is one of the most famous ships in the world.
My father was part of the workforce who built her , and so it was with a bit of pride I made my journey in his memory!
Although the weather was pretty grey and squally, it was a perfect day for me.
I met some lovely, friendly people, they are always like that in the west, and even had a chat with two passengers from the ship who were from Potsdam in Germany.

The Red Arrows were amazing, and I am glad I made the effort to see a moment in time that will stay with me for always.

Hope you enjoy the shots!
